I'm an engineer, not a marketer, so will shoot you straight. I'd really love to address their concerns, because I have good answers. They are skeptical because the PC Optimization industry has been inundated by hucksters. I also see a handful of skeptical people. Many are probably long time users of Lasso. In some of the comments below, I see lots of supportive people, which is great. Thank you for the endorsement and kind words. To set the profile to automatically switch when gaming click Options>Configure Application Power Profiles and copy these settings: If your version disables gaming mode, to emulate gaming mode on the Windows High Performance processor:Ĭlick Options>Configure CPU Core Parking and change your High Performance profile settings to match these: Mine still works with no issues and I have not paid a red cent. Keeping a constant high clock will more than likely increase your component temps inside of such a small enclosure.ĮDIT 6: Under the purchase page, Process Lasso "says" that it disables Gaming Mode after one week. Hirez Everett had nothing negative to say about Process Lasso back then.ĮDIT 5: Tip from TraumaHunter: If you're on a laptop, PLEASE keep your temps monitored. Bare in mind, I did not develop this software, so I can only account for how it works on my own system.ĮDIT 4: This is from when I used it a while back before doing a clean install of W8.1: If you expect to see a drastic improvement, but do not, I apologize for wasting your time. If you experience increased temps/ overheating, this software may not be for you and I apologize for wasting your time. My temps have remained normal across the board. I've only used the software for a few weeks (3-4). My instructor told me about this.ĮDIT 3: You guys don't have to download it, but don't try to downplay results with Google search answers. I forgot everything that was changed and didn't want to do a fresh install. The flash drive that I saved my old registry on failed. I messed up my registry when I was playing a few different softwares and doing a few troubleshooting labs for one of my I.T. Anything that you change in the Windows GUI affects some part of the registry.I've never seen any malware with an active forum: ĮDIT 2: There WAS indeed something wrong with my PC once upon a time. This profile:Īnd places your game at the top of the resource priority list.ĮDIT: This software DOES NOT access or modify ANY game's files or memory in any way. The Bitsum Highest Performance application power profile will auto-initiate each time a game that you have classified as a game is running. This is NOT the same as setting your game to High Priority in the Task Manager. Right click the game process and select "Classify as Game." I never dip below 100 FPS in non Arena game-modes. I upped my settings to High/Very High and I've gone from dropping under 60 FPS to barely seeing under 90 FPS at any point in the game in Arena. Diagnostics instructor told me that he uses the paid version for his VM-Workstation and he would never use another load balancing software again after trying it out. I was constantly dropping under 60 frames while in intense battles in the middle of the Arena map. There is a FREE Bitsum software called Process Lasso.
